Lyndi Scott-Strite is the founder and principal of LyndiHomes, a real estate group within the Bethesda/Gateway office of Long and Foster, a regional sales leader.  LyndiHomes was founded in 2008 shortly after Lyndi joined the Bethesda office as a means to establish a pool of easily accessible resources to effectively serve new and existing clients.   Although LyndiHomes relies on support staff to best serve its clientele, Lyndi continues to manage the day-to-day operations and client relationships.  Lyndi is licensed in MD, DC and VA; your one-stop shop for finding your perfect dwelling in the DC metro area.

Educational and Professional Background

Lyndi attended Purdue University and North Carolina State University, where she obtained a BA in Communications.  After graduation, Lyndi moved to California to work for one of the top advertising agencies in the world,  before moving on to manage regional fundraising for a national charity.  She returned to the east coast in 2003 and obtained an MBA specializing in sustainable design/green building from George Washington University.  After a few years as a small-business consultant, she decided to focus all her efforts in real estate, a lifelong passion.  Lyndi’s uniquely diverse background allows her to leverage her knowledge of the business world and her appreciation for design and architecture, in order to provide a unique skillset to her clients. Lyndi will help you find the right property, but more importantly, she’ll make sure you get it for the right price.

Since joining Long and Foster in 2008, Lyndi has received several awards as an acknowledgement of her real estate success: President’s Club Award; Director’s Club Award; Silver Team Award; and numerous customer service and sales awards and recognitions. However, the most meaningful award is client loyalty.  LyndiHomes’ exponential growth over the last half decade has been mainly driven by return customers and referrals from satisfied customers.  Enduring relationships are the only true measure of success.

When it comes to making a deal, Lyndi is a highly effective and proven negotiator, demonstrates a precise attention to detail and extensive experience in dealing with buyers, sellers, agents, mortgage brokers and settlement attorneys.  Lyndi also has a thorough understanding of home remodeling, having managed several projects in the area.  This latter skill can be particularly useful when evaluating the potential of a home purchase or sale.

Lyndi lives in Bethesda, MD with her husband, two step-sons and two loveable mutts.  She is an avid golfer, hiker, volleyball player and yoga junkie.
